Ethiopian Macadamia Lentil Stew

Hearty lentils stewed with berbere spice and a swirl of macadamia butter for creaminess.
Ingredients
- 1 cup lentils
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp berbere spice
- 2 tbsp macadamia butter
- 1 onion, chopped
Serves 2–4 · adjust quantities to taste
Preparation
- 1Cook onion and spice until fragrant.
- 2Add lentils and water; simmer 25 minutes.
- 3Stir in macadamia butter before serving.
