Polish Macadamia Pierogi

Traditional dumplings filled with macadamia-potato mash and served with brown butter crumbs.

Ingredients

  • Dough for 20 pierogi
  • 2 potatoes, mashed
  • 1/4 cup chopped macadamias
  • 2 tbsp butter

Serves 2–4 · adjust quantities to taste

Preparation

  1. 1Mix potatoes and macadamias for filling.
  2. 2Fill dough rounds and seal.
  3. 3Boil until they float, then fry in butter.
