1. Oven method
- Spread nuts in a single layer on a baking tray
- Use moderate heat — around 150–160 °C
- Check every 3–4 minutes; nuts continue cooking after removal
2. What to avoid
High heat and long times push oils toward bitterness. Macadamias especially can scorch quickly because of their fat content.
