Austrian Macadamia Sachertorte

Chocolate sponge layered with apricot jam and macadamia praline ganache.

Ingredients

  • 150g dark chocolate
  • 100g butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup ground macadamias
  • 2 tbsp apricot jam

Serves 2–4 · adjust quantities to taste

Preparation

  1. 1Melt chocolate and butter; mix with eggs and macadamias.
  2. 2Bake at 175 °C for 25 minutes.
  3. 3Spread jam and ganache once cool.
