Classic Cape Malay spiced beef baked with egg custard, elevated by toasted macadamias.
Ingredients
- 400g minced beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1/4 cup chopped macadamias
- 2 slices bread, soaked
- 2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
- Cook onion and beef with curry powder.
- Add soaked bread and macadamias; transfer to dish.
- Pour egg mixture on top; bake at 180 °C for 25 min.
